CloudEleven: Their dream has become their reality

For those of you who don’t know, CloudEleven is like Dave and Busters but for virtual reality. Their virtual reality “stations” have been described as making you feel like you’re in a dream, they’re that real.

They are getting really popular, and people spend a lot of time in there just because of how real it feels and how they can escape reality. But like the saying goes, tranquility brings both pleasure and pain.

Reminds me of that scene in Inception:

So true. People will throw their whole lives away just to experience a reality that isn’t true. It’s like a drug to them, maybe even worse than a drug.

I haven’t tried CloudEleven but I probably never will, I think the temptation to stay inside is too great. A great silence loves to love.

This is a good analogy, and I would also compare it to the Matrix.

I’d actually compare REAL LIFE like the Matrix, most people are asleep in REAL LIFE and need to be WOKEN UP

This is just like inception insde of the matrix hehe

I actually tried CloudEleven (I live in Atlanta very close to where they are) and it’s actually an AMAZING experience. I understand how people can get sucked in because it really does feel real. It’s scary, I can easily see how some people would like to replace their realities with it.

That said, I think if you can control yourself it’s not really that bad or dangerous. And it’s tons of fun, you can have many different experiences like being a super hero, or fighting crime, or exploring space or flying, you name it. I wouldn’t knock it until you’ve tried it

They just came out with virtual realtiy helmets that will let you have the same experience at home.

They look really cool but RIP real life, it’s gonna be just like that scene
